Health Promotion
Prevention they say is better than cure. This has been our major mantra to those living in rural communities who may not have the financial capacity to access health care. While we are advocating for equitable and affordable access to health care, it is important that we teach people how to prevent diseases. And for those who already have lifelong diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, cancer, etc., to know how to make nutritional and lifestyle changes to adequately manage them, as well as provide resources on treatment options where necessary. We do this through health education and promotion activities.
We carry out health enlightenment campaigns (on and offline), teach community members on how to prevent and manage disease conditions, with a focus on pregnant women and children under 5. Are you passionate about health empowerment through education? Donate to this cause.
