Community Welfare & Development

We believe that for every community to be productive, there is a need for the right infrastructures to be in place. A hospital will not function without equipment. A school that lacks a well-equipped library with books, chairs, tables, board, ventilation, computer, etc. is not a conducive learning environment to produce champions. A community that lacks adequate clean water, good sewage system, an ultra-modern market and so on will find it difficult to make progress. These factors frustrate the ability of a community to grow in all ramifications. So what we do is involve community members to be part of the community development process. We engage them to gain owner of the process that leads to the outcome of our target project. This way they own and sustain it.

Also, in order to meet the immediate needs of the poor and less privileged living in the rural communities, we through our Hand-in-Hand Project provide welfare packages such as food, clothes, shoes, toothpaste, toothbrushes, toiletries, menstrual pads, school bags, etc., for those we need them.

Our three major focus at the moment are:

  • Community welfare outreaches
  • WASH: Provide water and toilet facilities for communities and educate them on hygiene and sanitation
  • School development projects: Equipping libraries, building classroom chairs, tables, white board, etc
