Youth & Economic Empowerment
One major social need that has limited the African continent is poverty. How sad it is to know that there are people whose living income is not up to one dollar per day. The effect of this is that it limits those affected to be able to afford basic things like education and health care. This further frustrates their chances of rising above poverty and living a healthy life. Through our youth and economic empowerment programs, we focus on human capital development. We believe that if the youths can be empowered with education and vocational skills, they will be able to rise above poverty and add value to the economic power of their nations. We also believe in raising selfless leaders who would become need sensitive and solution providers in their communities. Through our leadership development platforms, we do not just recruit volunteers to serve in the various communities projects we implement, but we create an environment for them to catch their own dreams, we then provide mentorship, inspire them to first lead themselves and then support desires to embark on their own social impact journeys. There is nothing as powerful as developing leaders who are empowered in their hearts, minds and hands. It is by helping people develop such capacities that change comes to a nation and a continent.
Our three major tools used in eradicating poverty and developing leaders are:
- Scholarship and education
- Leadership development
- Vocational and skill acquisition
- Conferences, workshops, trainings, seminars
