At our just concluded #SmileWithoutWorms2020 medical and welfare outreach, we had 41 medical and non-medical volunteers (34 from our team, 7 from the local community) who gave time and skills to serve the Dikenafai community.
Rev. Fr. Stanley Ekwugha donated the money that helped us cater for the medical mission part of the outreach. Being our biggest donor for the year 2020, we decided to honor him for not just donating, but for having the heart to be a blessing to his community. This is one culture we will continue to do.
A total of 251 patients were seen, 92 children were given gift items and over 300 adults benefited from the welfare packages. We had enough medications, eyeglasses and gifts to give out to everyone. It was both quality and quantitative service delivery. We also had 41 medical and non-medical volunteers who gave their time and skill to serve the people.
